Walnut wood is hard, and heavy has some closed knots and color variation, is resilient, capable of resisting warping, and suffers very little shrinkage. The grain is irregular but typically straight with a medium texture. The end grain is semi-porous with distinct growth rings. Walnut wood is warm and rich in color and finishes well. Walnut is a fine-grained hardwood that is dense and shock resistant. All our wood table tops are made from solid North American hardwoods and are all manufactured in Ohio! All our wooden table tops are available in any standard or custom stain on the website and with a high-end commercial-grade polyurethane finish.
